What counts as an emergency

If it's getting worse by the minute, it's one.

You do not need to justify the call. Water going where it should not — or none coming out at all — is what the after-hours number is for.

  • Burst, split or frozen pipe — water running inside a wall or ceiling
  • Sewer backing up into a tub, shower or floor drain
  • No water anywhere in the house
  • Water heater leaking, venting badly or dumping onto the floor
  • Sump pump dead with water rising in the pit
  • A smell of gas around a line we installed or serviced
Gas leak, or water anywhere near the electrical panel? Get everyone out and call 911 first. Then call us.

While you wait

Three things that save the floor.

Kill the water

Main shutoff is usually where the supply enters the basement, near the meter. Turn it clockwise until it stops.

Open a low tap

Run the lowest faucet in the house to drain the pressure out of the system and slow the leak.

Move what matters

Lift boxes, rugs and anything electrical clear of the water. Photograph it for your insurer before you mop.

Keep us posted

Text a photo to (248) 927-6050 — it tells the plumber what to bring off the van before knocking.

What rolls up

A stocked van, not a diagnosis appointment.

Cable machine, jetter, inspection camera, pumps, heaters and the common fittings are already on board. That is how a call gets finished in one visit.

  • Drain machines and hydro jetting on board
  • Inspection camera to see the blockage, not guess it
  • Water heaters, sump pumps and fittings in stock
  • Price given and agreed before any work starts
