Cured-in-place lining puts a new seamless pipe inside the old one. Roots sealed out, cracks bridged, joints gone — usually with no excavation.

Camera & locate

Clean the host pipe
Roots cut out and the wall jetted back to bare pipe — the liner has to bond to something solid.
Pull and cure
A resin-saturated liner is drawn through and cured hard in place, forming a jointless pipe inside the old one.
Re-inspect
Camera goes back down. You see the finished bore before we pack the truck up.
When a line is collapsed or badly offset, lining will not save it — that is when the excavator comes off the trailer.
Lining is not always the answer.
A liner needs a host pipe with enough shape left to line. Some have it, some do not — the camera settles that before anyone quotes.
Lining usually suits
- Root intrusion at clay tile joints
- Cracked or split sections with the pipe still round
- Old cast iron scaled down to a narrow bore
- Lines under a drive, patio, porch or mature tree
Excavation is the honest answer when
- The pipe has collapsed or the bore is crushed
- Joints are offset far enough to catch the liner
- A section has separated and lost alignment
- The line needs re-grading, not resurfacing
Roots find every joint.
Older Oakland County streets run clay tile laterals under big trees. Roots follow the moisture into the joints, and the line becomes a net.

- Lining seals the joints so there is nothing left to grow into
