Find the leak. Replace the bad pipe.

A stain on the ceiling, a meter that creeps with everything off, a joint weeping for years. We find it, fix it, and say what the rest needs.

Leak detection

The stain is rarely above the leak.

Water travels along joists and pipe runs before it shows itself — which is why cutting drywall under the stain so often finds nothing.

  • Pinhole and joint leaks in copper, galvanised and PEX
  • Leaks behind walls, under floors and above ceilings
  • Supply leaks found by isolating and watching the meter
  • Shutoff valves that have seized or will not seal
  • Hose bibs, laundry boxes and outside taps
Michigan winter: an unheated crawlspace or an outside tap left connected is where most February burst calls start.

Repiping

When patching stops being the answer.

Once a house produces a pinhole every few months, each repair is buying weeks. Repiping a run, a floor or the whole house ends it.

  • Galvanised supply lines rusted closed from the inside
  • Copper with repeated pinholes on the same run
  • Whole-house repiping, or one bathroom at a time
  • Water pressure restored to what it should have been
Fixtures & toilets

The small jobs still get done right.

Not everything is an emergency. Plenty of calls are a running toilet, a faucet that has dripped for a year, or a disposal that finally gave up.

Toilets

Running, rocking, weak flush or leaking at the base. Rebuilt or replaced, wax seal and all.

Faucets

Kitchen, bath and laundry — repaired where parts exist, swapped where they do not.

Disposals

Jammed, humming or leaking at the flange. Replaced and the trap re-plumbed properly.

Shutoffs

Old stops that will not close get changed while we are there, so the next job is easy.
